Chief, Stella, and Carly — were just down the road, but hidden in a barn! Thank you to the sheriff for finding them in the barn when she was doing a wellness check on the cows (who were thankfully healthy).
They were hidden in a barn for years. Not handled much, but seems like they will come around quickly, especially the mares.
The vet has examined them (vaccines and Coggins). They do appear to be healthy, but we will wait for Coggins to be sure. Their hoof care will take a year or more of regular farrier visits to fully grow out. In addition, we don't know yet if the mares are pregnant and the stallion will need to be gelded.
