Update on all Things Happening!

2022 is just about over ~ and we have had a GREAT YEAR!

First off, thank you to everyone for your great support. Hope for Hooves (H4H) was a fabulous success. It was fun to see old faces and meet new friends. With your help, AGES raised over $20,000. THANK YOU!! Save the date for August 19, 2023.

Kid’s Camp in July was a 3-day fun-filled event.
And, our monthly Volunteer Orientation (2nd Sat of each month) and Visitor’s Day (1st Sun of each month) bring new faces and friends each month.

Our 2023 Calendar is ready for pre-order sales.

And, HOLIDAY on MANE is December 4th - which is our Winter Fundraiser. We hope you can stop by and get some baked goods, drink some hot chocolate, and have pictures taken with Santa.
This is a family event.

A Big Thank You

Many thanks to Pleasant Valley Treats in West Bend WI for a donation from their Give Back program in February. Each month this business, which makes single ingredient freeze-dried treats for cats and dogs, gives a portion of its sales to an animal rescue. They also sent us a package of yummy treats! Thank you, Pleasant Valley Treats, for your support!

Charlie Adopted!

EXCITING NEWS!

Charlie is GOING HOME!!!!!

Charlie's groomer from his prior life has not been able to get over his leaving last spring. She came to "see him" here at AGES and he recognized her immediately! She has adored him from their first meeting and does not want to ever be without him again!

Charlie will enjoy a retired life with 5 siblings on 30 acres. She has no need or desire to ever ride him. She just wants to give him what he has always deserved!

Check back over the weekend for a picture of Charlie and his new mama as we say goodbye to our big teddy bear tomorrow!!!!

Hello Wendy!

Hello AGES supporters!! With your blessing we have secured this mare in MS.

She is 6 years old, came from a breeding operation...not broke by any means! They call her Wendy, but I'm sure we can come up with something more special than that!! (Renamed Windy.)

She is to be picked up on the same transport that was to be getting Jemma.

Fingers crossed for arrival in 6 days!!!!

Sad News

Very sad news this morning. Our lovely Jemma - who was to get a physical to make sure she could make the trip, today was running with her herd for breakfast....was trying to go up a culvert/hill and either fell down or was pushed/shoved down. She broke her shoulder.. Vet arrived and said there was nothing to do but PTS. Our hearts....and yours as well - are a little shattered at the moment. YOU our AGES warriors....raised $2,000 to save and bring home to Wisconsin for a recovery and likely birth. It now won't be happening.

If you want to request a refund of your donation, please pm me directly and we are more than able to do that.

If you all want me to save another soul in need......with those funds.....please tell me that too!

I'm kinda just stunned right now....
