Great Lakes Search and Rescue K-9 is coming to Hope for Hooves

Great Lakes Search and Rescue K-9 is a 501-c3 non-profit organization providing specially trained dogs to assist law enforcement agencies in locating missing persons, drowning victims, and evidence recovery. They currently have 19 canines on the team in 4 disciplines: human remains detection, tracking/mantrailing, area search, and their newest addition, Crisis Comfort (therapy) dogs. They will be doing live demos at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00, so make sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, August 15th and come and meet the dogs, and learn about search and rescue and how they do their jobs!
